Dawn Boyd
Executive Director, Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show
Dawn Boyd has served as Executive Director of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show since
January 2019, bringing together her passion for volunteer-driven events and organizational
leadership. She is committed to guiding SOQS into the future while honoring its deep roots,
mission, and community, and she especially values the relationships she has built with the
quilters, donors, and volunteers who make the show possible.
A mother of five daughters, Dawn developed strong creative and leadership skills through
years of volunteering and community involvement. After her daughters graduated, she
earned a degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox
University, leading her to a career in the nonprofit sector and ultimately to SOQS.
Dawn lives in Central Oregon with her husband, JeQ. She enjoys traveling to visit their 11
grandchildren, camping, quilting, reading, watching superhero movies, and spending time
with her close group of friends, the “Diamonds.”
