Get ready for fast-paced creativity and quilting excitement at the Live Iron Quilters Competition, happening during the Pacific Northwest Quilt Festival! Watch teams race against the clock as they design and construct a quilt using the same materials—right before your eyes.

Eight teams of four quilters each will compete in this high-energy, crowd-favorite event. Precision, teamwork, and imagination are key as participants transform fabric into finished pieces under pressure.
Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
First place team will be rewarded $300, Second place will receive $200 and Third Place team will earn $100 in prize money. In addition, the first place team will get their quilt top professionally quilted. Choice of these fabrics and the pattern to be quilted will be made by a professional quilter.
Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or simply love watching creativity unfold, Iron Quilters is a must-see highlight of the festival.
