MaryBetts Sinclair has been a massage therapist for 50 years and is a former Emergency Medical Technician. She has practiced massage in many different environments, including physical therapy and chiropractic offices, hospices, clinics for disabled people in Canada, South America, South Korea and Indonesia, and in her own private practice in Corvallis, Oregon. She has been teaching therapists and laypeople since 1975, and also writes massage therapy textbooks. Many years of her own sewing and many years of trying to help clients with eyestrain and chronic upper body tension, has helped her understand how a lot of close work (embroidery, quilting, etc) without better habits can affect the body, including the eyes.
Thus she is on a mission to help quilters prevent the accumulation of eyestrain and chronic upper body tension!
